uesa takes over nkt cables housing technology
uesa GmbH continues housing technology product portfolio of the nkt GmbH Nordenham
In the uesa GmbH company based in Uebigau the management of the nkt cables GmbH Nordenham has found a buyer for the products of the housing technology portfolio who is experienced in this field. In future, all products will be integrated into the product portfolio of the uesa GmbH.
“We are glad to have found in the uesa company a business partner that we know many years already and who will continue the whole product portfolio of the housing technology field, thus offering our clients a maximum planning reliability” explains the managing director Dr. Konstantin Kurfiss. In September 2015, the management announced that nkt cables will give up the business of housing technology in order to focus in future on the core business of cable accessories technology. “uesa has already extensive experience in the field of production and assembly of cable distribution boards and thus will in future be a competent partner and contact point for our clients.”
The uesa GmbH based in Uebigau (southern Brandenburg) is an established medium-sized company of the energy sector with a long standing tradition. uesa projects, fabricates and assembles electrical equipment for the industry and energy supply. The range of services includes outdoor distribution boards (e. g. cable distribution boards, meter connection columns, system boards), energy distribution systems, transformer stations, low voltage switch systems, medium voltage switch systems up to 24 kV, as well as automation and central control systems and services in the solar sector. There are 300 employees working for the uesa GmbH.
